| | Storyline: | | As the Chechen war rages, the patients in a border hospital are cut off from the struggle, safely confined in their own restricted world. Problems come across the asylum, as Russian troops near, and the doctors abandon the hospital leaving the patients to fend for themselves. Janna, a beautiful young Chechen inmate, finds her only peace in her accordion and her dreams of being rescued by her imaginary fiancpop musician Bryan Adams. Though a group of troops come across the asylum and try to befriend the patients, Janna still sits and waits for her imaginary fianc to come and whisk her away. |
